Graduation and Memorial Day...

After church Kacie and I went to graduation while Scott went to go get Brandon for the night.  Brandon was so happy and I absolutely love the picture I was able to capture of the kids with their Grandma Wanda.  So glad to have Brandon home and to have Kacie starting to feel better!

Just a couple of the happy graduates we were able to see...Thayne and True!

Monday we went down to Cow Hollow park for a game of softball with all the Schulthies cousins.  We got there first so I pitched a few to Brandon and he hit them just like the good ole' days!  He hasn't lost his touch at all!
After our game we took Brandon home and then we went out to eat at Smokey House Pizza and to the movies with Mom.  We saw Alice Through the Looking Glass and we all loved it and even mom was pleasantly surprised how much she liked it!

It was such a nice Memorial weekend!!!

Tyler and Rachel's Wedding...

Beautiful day for a wedding...so glad that Kacie was feeling up to going!

Wedding was short and sweet...

Kendall
Miah

The food was amazing and the dance was a lot of fun..
Kacie and Brady both danced during the money dance.

Kendall was cracking us up with her snapchat pictures...she even sent one to me all by herself!  Crazy how much little ones know about technology!

So beautiful...

Weddings plus family equals lots of LOVE!!!

Another School Year in the Books...

Wednesday Mom and I went to see Brady get his end of the year school awards and then I talked to the High School about getting more of her homework while mom went and got Kacie so I could take her to get more fluids.  When I met up with them and saw her I could tell she had been crying and turns out her boyfriend Treyton Davila broke up with her.  It is never good timing but when you're sick it makes it worst. ):  Later in the evening Maya came over to help Kacie with homework and she was able to help cheer her up.
Such a cute!  I'm so proud of how hard he worked this year!  He tried really hard to get all his work turned in this year!
I guess for his love of maps...
Brady only missed three days of school all year...crazy compared to his sister!
Friday the 27th and the last day of school I took Kacie's homework in since she didn't feel up to going to school and then I took her to get more fluids.  Mom was so nice and took these three to the movies after school to celebrate the last day!  Such a fun and giving grandma!
Mallory brought Kacie this cute basket for being so sick and for missing the whole last week of school.  Jocelyn also came to visit her prior and brought her Dutch and a big card that a bunch of kids signed from school.  That was really thoughtful! I can't believe that another school year is over and that I now have a Senior and 6th grader in middle school...no more Elementary School!

CDiff is Back and Brady's Toe...

Took Kacie back to the pediatrician May 19th.  The doctor is afraid the CDiff is back.  She gave her some fluids and sent us home while we wait for the results.

Mom and Dad went to Utah to see Rosie's family and they invited Brady to tag along since Kacie has been so sick and he was SO excited to go!

Congrats Caleb!
EJ was ordained to a High Priest...

Sunday Brady went outside to play with the kids and fell through a six foot window well.  He stood on the screen that covers it and it wasn't secured good enough and fell through.  I don't know how but Braxton managed to help pull him out and Brady got quite a few bruises and lost the nail on his big toe.  He was pretty upset and Mom said Mckinley stayed with him for two hours trying to comfort him...SO sweet!
Monday the 23rd I spent a total of seven hours at TV-Peds.  The first five were with Kacie getting more fluids and finding out that the CDiff is back.  I swear no one know Kacie's veins better than Dr. Dunbransky.  She put her back on the Vancomycin 500 mg 4 times a day.  The last two hours were with Brady getting his toe fixed back up and chasing after presciptions.  The doctor said there is nothing more painful than loosing a toe nail so she said it is better to leave it on while it heals.  She gave us a prescription of bactriban and said we needed to change the bandage every night after he showers.

I couldn't believe Brady fell asleep while we were waiting for the doctor. What a day...I swear I feel like my life is just meant to be spent with doctors. I would seriously consider becoming a nurse if I didn't have to go back to school. Haha!

Kacie had to go back everyday to get fluids except for the day we went to see the kidney doctor,  On Wednesday she finally told the doctor to keep her IV in because she was tired of getting Poked.  The doctor grinned and said you do have feelings.  She was beginning to wonder when she never wanted to leave it in.  The kidney doctor said he wouldn't take out her IV yet because she still needed more fluids on Friday.  He also said he would send in a referral to see a GI doctor for a possible fecal transplant and he also lowered her Prograf to 5 mg a day.  The pediatrician gave her two liters on Friday and begged her to drink.  That seemed to get her good enough through the long weekend.
