1st Day of School...

Brady was really sad when he found out Ryan was going back to Harper.  Then when we learned that Nyssa was doing school on-line again because of Covid-19.  Harper is able to go for two hours a day because they have less kids.  So after talking it out and weighing all his options, Brady decided he wanted to transfer to Harper this year.  He was pretty excited once we finally made the decision.  Until they can go to school full-time Brady will have to hang out in Scott's room until he has school at 2:00.  He will have three 40 minute classes.

I can't believe Brady is a sophomore this year.
He is so cute!!!
I sure hope he enjoys Harper and has a great year.

Cole & Kacie's 1st Anniversary...

Cole and Kacie spent two nights in Big Sky Montana for their 1st Anniversary.  They said it was really beautiful there and their hotel was really nice.

They rode up a ski lift and rode their mountain bikes back down.  So fun!

I'm so glad they had a good time!

Memories with Harlen...

Last night after we left your home all these fun memories came flooding back to us of all the good times we have had together over the years.

Dad was telling us the time Berniel & Brent Hartley came for a visit and Brent told him that Harlen gave the best Sunday School lesson he has ever had.

I remember all the fun we had at early morning seminary and how nice Harlen was to let me bum a ride with him to school.  I can still remember jamming out to ZZ Top and Lunatic Fringe.  We all loved his pickup and the loud stereo system especially Scott.

Scott said how funny it was the first time Harlen invited him to spend the night.  Scott said he couldn't because he would have to go to church the next day and then Harlen said me too what church do you go to?  Scott said the Mormon church what about you?  He remembered how shocked they were when they discovered they both went to the same church!

We've had fun at the fair, rodeos, going to concerts, Wahooz, dinner plus lots of we should do this and then time goes by and we let those precious moments pass by.  Oh how I wished we would have done more together!

We have loved watching our kids grow up together and all the ups and downs that come with that.  We are so grateful we have had each others' shoulders to cry on and all the support you have been to us.  Life sure isn't fair, but we have to hold on to that hope that our families can be together forever!

As we left last night I was amazed at your strength because saying goodbye was so hard.  This sucks so bad...wish we had more time.  We sure love you guys!

Hi-Cliffs...

Because of Covid-19 all the reservations at the Hi-Cliffs church camp were canceled and they aren't taking any right now either.  Our bishop said we could use it but there is no guarantees that it's available.  We were so happy no one was up there.  Crazy it's been fifteen years since we have been here together.  Even Kim & Adam, Travis, Natalie, Paxton, Lindsay & Jetsen plus Brooke came from Utah.  They camped there too.   It was fun to see the kids going down the slip n slide together.  It sure has improved since we went down as kids back in the 80's. haha!

Baby Jetsen...

Barrett stole the show...he is so dang cute! These two couldn't get enough of him.  It was fun watching him with Scott learning all the buttons on  his four wheeler...

So fun how much these two are alike...
Kim, Brooke, Lindsay, little Bear and Jetsen asleep...
Kendal...
It was fun seeing Joshua & James having fun...
Lindsay, Miah & Kendal...
Adam, Lindsay, Kim & Paxton...
I'm glad Teniele, Mom & Dad were able to come...
Nothing like a picture where nobody is looking...haha!
It was so fun seeing everyone...Mom took this picture of all the Talbots there before they left.  It's crazy to think that the last time we were here Stephen, Tyler, Travis, Kim, Brooke & Kacie were the little ones running around and now they are all married and some have kids of their own.

Grandpa Steve with Kendal, Henley & Miah...

When they first arrived Bear went right to me and I fed him a ton of watermelon and then Farrell gave me a lunchable that I gave him too.  I'm amazed how he will eat just about anything and I love how he will go to anyone.  So dang cute!

Sure love this girl!
It was a great day...loved spending time with everyone.  We all brought our own lunch but later around 6:00 Ron and Stacie served us some yummy Elk ribs and watermelon. It was fun just sitting around visiting and watching Steve and Tyler flying their drones around the camp.  Tyler even sent his to the top of the power lines that were on top of the cliffs.  He tried sending it up to the dam but lost his connect.   Nothing like spending time with family.  Scott, Brady and I were the last to leave.  We stayed and visited with Adam, Kim & Brooke who spent another night camping.

My 50th Birthday...

I was able to get the day off for my birthday so Mom, Brady and I went shopping at the mall in Boise and lunch at Chick-fil-A.  Before we left mom gave me this awesome picture book that her and Rosie put together for me.  A bunch of family members added memories and pictures for me.  It made me cry and laugh out loud.  I absolutely loved it and all the birthday wishes I received today.  At the mall I got some silver & gold loop earrings from Macy's, body wash, lotion & wallflowers from Bath & Body Works, two dresses and a shirt from Bohme.  We also got Brady some school clothes from Hollister.  After we ate we went to Costco and got a few things.  That night Scott grilled us some salmon which was so yummy.  Mom and Dad ate with us.

The Sunday prior Mom, Teniele and her boys were in Utah so Teniele could go to some single adult activities.  While they were there they worked on my book.  Blake sent me these pictures not knowing it was a surprise.  I guess he couldn't wait and I didn't know they were working on book for me at the time.  I remember it touched me so much it made me tear up.  I sure love my Blake.

Cole and Kacie had to be at the American Construction Demo Days so I wasn't able to see them until the next day.

Scott posted this picture of us taken in McCall at the Wheeler's cabin for my birthday.  He said, "Happy 50th birthday to my wife of almost 31 years and best friend.  You are the absolute best!   He made my day!(:
