Fun Saturday...

Spent a fun Saturday with these two.  First Kacie and I went to the Nyssa boys State basketball game. It was a fun game to watch even though they lost.
I then took them to Idaho Pizza Company to eat dinner.  Kacie and I had their yummy salad bar and then we all had individual pizzas.  I tried their Sun Valley vegetarian pizza and I absolutely loved it.  We then had a lot of laughs playing with Kacie's face swap on Snapchat.  That was too funny.

We then met up with Treyton and watched a Jungle Book play at Four Rivers Cultural Center.  It was cute and done by children from all around the valley.
I bought a new photo editor app for my phone and had fun playing with this picture that we also took today.  I had so much fun with the kids.  I love days like today. (:

Brady's 5th Grade Field Trip...

 Extracting DNA from strawberries...
In this room they looked at hundreds of different rocks and many were millions of years old.  In this picture Brady was having fun looking at this map of different geological places in Oregon and Idaho.
Having fun looking through microscopes...They also learned the digestive process, erosion, plants and more.
My group rocked...I had Kaylee, Brady, Lauren and Natasha pictured below from left to right...
Brady loved all the different science labs at TVCC's new science building that I think is only a couple of years old.  After we had lunch and then went to the Four Rivers Cultural Museum.   A Japanese lady about 92 years old talked to the kids about living in the concentration camps.  The kids then spent a little bit of time outside walking through the Japanese garden before going through the museum.  I was able to visit with her a little bit while the kids were outside.  She moved to the Ontario area shortly after she was married.  Her husband was a farmer and died in a farming accident several years ago.  She had two kids and is still living alone.  Very nice lady, reminded me a lot of Scott's grandmother Phyllis.
I can't believe all the years this museum has been in Ontario and I have never gone.  I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was.  I really enjoyed it.  It shared information from the four cultures (Basque, Japanese, European English and Hispanic) that live in our area and also some of the history surrounding our area.
 Brady with his buddy Kaylee...
I even saw him grab her hand for a little bit while they were walking back to the bus.  Too cute!

Kacie's Allergy Test...

Kacie had an allergy test done today on this beautiful President's day. She didn't like how much her arms itched and couldn't scratch them.

Brady went with us and brought his newest addict-a-ball to keep him entertained.  I guess he got bored and decided to take a picture of it. Haha!

Luckily her allergies weren't too bad.  Her worst allergy was to cow hair, everything else was pretty mild so she won't need any allergy shots which is a relief.  She can just maintain it with allergy medicine like Zyrtec and Nasacort.

After we got done we were going to give Brandon his Valentine's and take him to Blaze Pizza with us but he wasn't at his home.  He had gone to the park so we were bummed we didn't get to see him.

Valentine's Day...

Our Valentine's Day...Scott got me a really nice light blue Under Armour cold-gear shirt, unfortunately I didn't get a picture of it.

Kacie found this cute idea on Etsy so I tried to duplicate it and we printed it at Costco and she framed it for Treyton with some of his favorite candy.  I was pretty proud of myself.  Treyton took her to Olive Garden and gave her two Harry Potter wand necklaces which she loved.  I must say we all had a great Valentine's Day!

High School Fun...

Cuties having fun at a basketball game...

Kacie and Madi Mitchell had some fun one day while at school after doing Valograms.  I love how you can see Kacie's hair and face showing through.
Senior Night...Can't believe the year is already more than half way over!
It was kind of fun for Coach Pratt to invite some of his past Seniors to sit with them on the bench!

 Fun with snapchat...my little cutie!!
Kacie had a big English project on a biography of someone and she chose Elli Friedmann, a holocaust survivor.  She had to try to dress up like her and give a speech on her life.  Her teacher was pretty impressed she even tried to do it in a German accent.  She looked pretty cute and I think she was touched deeply by all that she learned about this incredible lady.

Ontario Winter Homecoming...

On January 23rd Treyton asked Kacie to go with him to his Ontario Winter Homecoming dance. He gave her this huge bear with a big poster that said: (that he did himself which was impressive)  "I couldn't bear to go to Homecoming without you!"  It was super cute!

I thought Kacie looked so beautiful and Treyton was pretty handsome too!
Such a cute couple!
Their pictures turned out so cute!

More funny Brady Quotes...

So Brady was watching American Idol with Kacie and I and he said...

"That girl's cold!" and Kacie asked, "What do you mean?" and he said, "It means, she's not pretty enough!"

Kacie and I about died laughing.  It was so funny!  In his mind because cute and pretty girls are often referred to as "Hot" he thought this girl would obviously be called "Cold".  Haha!
