Mom's Eye Surgery...

On March 3rd Brady helped give his Grandma a blessing before her eye surgery the next day.
He did a good job anointing the oil.
We were all relieved that everything went well even though Mom's recovery was a little more difficult than we thought it would be.

This and That...

On February 5th, Kacie sent me this adorable picture of them out riding their RAZR.
On February 10th, Scott and I decided to drive to Jordan Valley to watch the Harper girls and boys play basketball. The girls lost but the boys killed them so they were pretty excited to put up their little sign that said, Search Found...Harper Hornets.  It was pretty funny.
On February 11th we went to Ron and Stacie's for Superbowl LVIII.
We had a small group, but it was fun.  The Chiefs beat the 49ers 25 to 22.

I love all these fun stats after a game.
On February 23rd, Scott couldn't believe it when he saw he was under 210 pounds which was his original goal.  Now we will see if he keeps losing weight.
On February 24th I thought the moon looked so cool I tried to take a picture, but it doesn't always do it justice.
On February 25th we went to Gerald and Wanda's for a little bit after church.  Scott looked so sad when he saw his favorite snack and couldn't have any...hahaha!
It was fun that we were able to get a picture together.

January Events...

January 4th I took this picture of Scott because he lost about twelve pounds.  He has done so good at sticking to his diet which has been just limiting his carbs.  He is still eating rice and potatoes but no sugar and very little amounts of bread.  He has even found out that he likes honey now. haha.
January 14th Tara and Tommy came over and they played 'Left, Right, Center', looks like Brady was the winner. :)
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 15th Scott went coyote hunting with Ron.  They had a great hunt.
January 21st I finished my Harry Potter puzzle.  It was a little harder than I thought it would be.
January 27th I finally put up the picture that Cole and Kacie got for Scott that is made out of metal.  After I got it hung up I decided that I needed new flowers.  I thought it turned out good.
Mom made this super cute quilt and donated it for the Nyssa Chamber banquet that will be in April.  I love how she put the State of Oregon with a star for Nyssa and embroidered, "Nyssa - Thunderegg Capital of the World!"
Cole and Kacie gave me this super cute puzzle and a puzzle board for Christmas.  I love it so much, I think I will get it framed.  I had to take a few pictures of my progress.  This has been one of the more enjoyable puzzles I have completed.

It's so fun seeing pictures of Ryan on the Weber State Track Instagram account.

January Birthdays...

Another year has gone by for these two.
We had a nice birthday party with lots of good food and of course dessert.

We got Tyson a gift card for a game he likes to play online and Wanda the zip-up sweatshirt that looks so cute on her.  This picture she sent me made my day.

Gerald is Recognized...

It was pretty cool that Coach Trini recognized Gerald for all the years of coaching he did in Harper and the great impact he made on the kids including him when he was in High School.

It was fun being able to support everyone.

New Year's Day 2024

On New Year's Day Reid and Rosie's families headed back home but before they left Reid wanted to ordain Chad with Dad the Aaronic Priesthood which was really nice.

Looks like Braxton has now passed Dad in height.  It was so fun having everyone here for the weekend.  Scott and I relaxed the rest of the day and watched football games.
