Glen Walker's Funeral...

Scott and I went to Glen Walker's funeral.  Everyone did a wonderful job remembering our amazing friend.  He was a great mentor to many people throughout his life.  We are happy he is with his sweetheart again, but he will be greatly missed.

Josh & Dad's Birthday...

Friday the 23rd Mom & Teniele had a big celebration for Josh and Dad's birthday.  This has to be really hard on dad...his first birthday without his twin.  Mom put up a bunch of pictures of the two of them.  It was nice of all the people that came.

We couldn't believe Jamie came all the way from Washington with her kids.

Tammy and Cody gave Dad this awesome card!
On Saturday the 24th we gave dad our gift and I made him a sour cream lemon pie which is his favorite.

Starlite Theater...

I left early from work Monday and met mom at Anderson Corner to follow her over to Meridian.  I then left my car with one of her temple friend's house and hopped in her car and we drove up to Garden Valley with Teniele and Madi Clark.  Once we got there we checked into our tiny hotel room and went to eat with Donna, Jenny, Jessica, Tonya and Tara at the resort's only restaurant.  Luckily the food wasn't too bad. haha!
We then went to watch Singin' in the Rain at the Starlight Mountain Theatre.  I have never seen the show so I didn't know what to expect.  It was a little slow getting started but then I really enjoyed it.  It was a lot of fun!

Madi Clark, Jessica Hiatt, Tonja Simpson, Jenny Simpson, Donna Seuell, Tara Rushton, me, Mom & Teniele in front.

The moon looked so cool over the stage the picture doesn't do it justice.
It was pretty hot and muggy as you can see by my hair in these pictures...haha!

These were the main two characters...Tara thought he looked like one of Juliene's boys.  It was a fun evening!  After we went back to our room and visited for a little bit before heading to bed.  I shared a room with mom.  She said I took more than my fair share of the bed and so she didn't sleep very well.  The next day we had breakfast at the same restaurant.  I had some yummy huckleberry pancakes.  We had to leave sooner than the rest so I could go with Brandon to a doctor's appointment.  Mom went with me and Teniele drove her car home.  It was nice to see Brandon.  They are going to do botox injections in his legs again to help loosen the muscles.  After his appointment we took him home for the night.  He didn't do too bad, he slept about half the night.  Then Saturday he starting getting worked up more and more as the day went on.  Scott and I dropped off Brady at Weston's house around 4:00 so he could go up to the lake for mutual then we took Brandon home.  We always feel pretty depressed after we take Brandon back to his home.  On our way back Brady text us and said Glen Walker passed away today.  We feel so bad for Jeff but happy Glen can be together with his sweetheart.

Gerald's 81st Birthday...

We had a party for Gerald's 81st birthday on Sunday the 18th.  Scott grilled some chicken thighs on his new grill and I made two sour cream lemon pies.  Wanda made a green salad, potato salad and rolls and Steve made some yummy baked beans.  It was fun to be together and we had a bonus when Kevin and Kingston came.

Kingston teaching Ryan and Lindsay some sign language...too cute!

New Water Cooler & Grill

When Mom and I were driving home from Utah we got to thinking about getting Lindsay EcoWater to deliver water out to us. We were thinking with Teniele getting married and moving to Utah she won't be around to help them with their big 5 gallon water bottles and I wanted to get rid of all the little bottles around the house.  Plus Teniele always cashed in our bottles and I didn't want the hassle.  We thought it was a pretty good deal that they would deliver to the house every other Thursday for only $6.00 a bottle.  Mom started with four and we started with two.   We just had the deposit fee of $12.00 per bottle to get started.
This is the cooler I picked out online from Home Depot.  Scott was kind of skeptical at first but admitted how much he has liked it.  And I have loved not having water bottles scattered all around the house.

On Friday Scott and I went to Costco to get a new Traeger.  We kind of dipped it over trying to get it on the cart.  We thought about switching it out for another one but the Costco worker said it will be fine.  We sure hope so.  Mom and Dad gave us some money to put towards it since they like Scott to grill for them sometimes.  Saturday Scott put it together which wasn't too hard and it seems to be okay so far.

Cole & Kacie's New Home...

From the time Cole and Kacie purchased this home back in April to today when they were able to finally move in was a little longer than they had expected but we are all so happy for them.  Even after they got the keys and were in the process of moving there were issues.  The electrician didn't hook up the air conditioner correctly so they didn't have A/C for a few days.  There was sand in the water for a little while, the dishwasher wasn't hooked up and the water to the washer wasn't turned on, but once they got all the little problems resolved they were finally able to enjoy their beautiful new home.

They also had to re-stain the wood because the first attempt had a green hue to it.
Jolene and Carriesa came over to help Kacie decorate.  Jolene had her car loaded with stuff and they did an amazing job.  I love how simple and elegant it turned out...so beautiful!

The builders gave them this nice house warming gift.
We are so happy for them and can't wait to visit!

Sunsets, Flowers & NYS...

July 9th I went over to the butte with Scott to help him pick up some equipment.  While we were over there we saw this amazing sunset.  I sure love where I live...so beautiful!

When I got back home I took some more pictures of the sunset with my flowers.

Brady was pretty nervous about going to NYS but we got up early and I took him over to Parma.  He really struggled getting out of the car but he did it.  Later in the day Scott and I went to Costco and out to eat at Jalapeños our new favorite place to eat.  While we were there I got a call from Maria Draper and she said Brady had a little melt down earlier and she made a deal with him that if he stuck it out he could leave before the dance but she was hoping he would want to stay.  We then went to Scott's parents house and hung out until we heard from Brady.  When we arrived to pick him up before the dance we could tell he was really happy.  I told him he could stay for the dance if he wanted to and he said, "but I made a deal with Maria."  I said it would be okay to stay he could break their deal she wouldn't mind.  He jumped right out of the car and ran back over with his group.  Scott and I had to smile we were so happy for him.  We then went back to Gerald & Wanda's house to watch the Thunder-egg fireworks.   Ron, Stacie and the kids came over too.  It was fun! We then went back to Parma to pick up Brady and we were so glad he had fun.  He told us he even bore his testimony in their group testimony meeting which was amazing in itself!
