Middle School State Track & Graduation...

It was unfortunate that the Middle School State Track meet at Hayward Field was the same day as Brady's seminary graduation.  We were so happy to find out that Lindsay took 1st in the hurdles and Richard got 2nd in the 800m.  That's pretty amazing!  Below are screenshots from the Argus Observer article.

I guess the girl she beat has never lost before and she caught her right at the end of the race.

Thursday, May 25th, was the Nyssa Middle School Graduation.  We were happy to support Tessa.

Seminary Graduation...

Brady was asked to share his testimony to represent the Harper early morning seminary.  He did such a good job and did it all by heart.  That was not a very easy thing for him to do and a lot of people told him how well he did.  It was a special night.

My cutie!!! So proud!

The program lasted over an hour, maybe even an hour and a half.  Ron did a good job. Kenneth Jensen was the guest speaker and spoke about managing your money and he even gave all the graduates $100.00 with a small note that said, "Congratulations graduate! Make your plan and invest it wisely!!"  However, it wasn't signed so we just assumed it was from him.  The crazy thing was Brady almost didn't get his envelope.  Someone from the school found it when they were cleaning up after the graduation and gave it to Scott the next day.  Thanks to Dad's help were figured out his address and sent him a thank you.  Brady put a note on it that said he invested $ 1,000.00 in a CD.  Hopefully, he was happy about that.  They had a slideshow and I thought Brady had the best pictures but I'm not prejudiced either. haha!
Brady was overjoyed that he did it! and so were we!
It was a little emotional to see Kaylee and her mom congratulating Brady.  He was so happy to see her!  They have been lifelong friends and she has been such a good friend all these years.

Brady received an unbelievable amount of support.
It was nice to have Brady's party over and just relax the rest of the day.  We did go to Bennett's party for a little bit and then we shared Brady's cake with Ron's family and Gerald.  It was one of my best cakes.
