Our Weekend!

Kacie took this snapchat and sent it to three of her friends with the caption...
My parents are in love!
I thought it was cute!
Friday the 25th Kacie had a track meet in Vale.  She PRd in the long jump and triple jump.  Her long jump was 14'1.25" and she got 5th place and her triple jump was 26.05.50 and got 12th place.  I really feel like she needs to stick with the long jump and her running events.
 Such cute girls!
I found Brady reading the Atlas Saturday morning.  So cute! Love him! Takes after his Dad.  Something I wouldn't be found doing on a Saturday morning as a kid! lol
Sunday we went on a drive together and took a few selfies!
Did some more while Brady was throwing rocks in the canal up by Mitchell Butte.
Love my Family!

Easter

Mom took Brady down to the Cowhollow Easter Egg Hunt.
He had a lot of fun!
She got some really cute pictures...Thanks Mom!

I can't believe he did this...gotta be a first!
Brady with Howie and Liam.
Olivia and Brady
Brady and I went to Grandma Joan's Easter Egg Hunt.  We were trying to figure out how long she has held this and we think it is close to 40 years now.

I love this friendship.  Lea is so good to Brady!
Sure love this boy and his enthusiasm for life!
We had a pretty small group this year.

Kacie got her Alice n Wonderland Mickey ears and T-shirt when she was at Disneyland over spring break.
Saturday night Stacie and I helped textured Gerald and Wanda's spare bedroom to get ready to paint and put in Grandma's bedroom set.  I couldn't believe what a messy job that was.
Taking selfies at Church?
my beautiful daughter...
Sure love this girl!
Silly Brady...I still had to share! Too funny!
We had Easter dinner with Mom and Dad after church and then we played 5 crowns with Valeda and Melissa and then Kacie and I went to watch the youth Easter program.  Jocelyn had a solo and she did an amazing job.  The whole thing was really good.

New Plymouth Track Meet

Kacie had a good track meet.  She PRd in both the 100m and long jump.  Her 100m time was 14.2 which put her in 15 place.  She ended up in 9th place in the long jump with 13'11".  But she barely scratched a 15'3" in the long jump which was a great confidence booster for her.  I sure hope she can get that marked this year. That would be so awesome! Her triple jump was 25'2". She also ran the 4x100 with Megan Vielma, Diana Flores and Marisa Escobedo and their time was 57.67 which put them in 5th place.
After the meet I took these three to Panda Express and then Dutch Bros before they ended up at our house for a sleep over.  I love this picture of them crashed out on the couch.  Such cute girls and I am so glad they have each other!

Science Fair!

Newton's 1st Law of Motion
The egg is at rest until acted upon.
When the pie plate is knocked out of the way gravity pulls the egg down.

Newton's 2nd Law of Motion
Force=Mass x Acceleration
The marble makes a bigger impact in the flour than the wad of foil.

Newton's 3rd Law of Motion!
When the air goes out of the balloon it causes the Rocket Balloon Car to go in the opposite direction.

We had to go to the school at 8:00 so he could perform his experiments before going to Grandma's funeral. He did a good job with each one.  But when the judge asked about how he got the shape of his rocket car he told him, my mom did it.  Too funny!  We were so excited he got 3rd place out of all the third graders.
Way to go Brady!!!

If the funeral wasn't enough for one day we then went to Brady's Science Fair and then I went with Kacie to her FFA Banquet.  She didn't want to go and was really emotional at first but then she had a good time and was glad she went.  I bid on three centerpieces and ended up taking them home.  They were cute little plants in small cement pots.

Grandma's Funeral

Sad day for us...Happy day for Grandma!
She now can see and is with her sweetheart and all her family
