Grandma's Funeral

Sad day for us...Happy day for Grandma!
She now can see and is with her sweetheart and all her family
The following was from her obituary:

Phyllis Laura (Brown) Talbot
May 2, 1912-April 9, 2014
Nyssa—Beloved Mother and Grandmother Phyllis Laura Talbot passed away on Wednesday, April 9th, 2014, shortly before her 102nd birthday.  She was born in Logan, Utah, May 2nd, 1912, to Laura Jane Holman and Amos Brown Jr.  She had seven brothers and sisters, but with the passing of her mother at the tender age of six, her father remarried Lillian Christiansen adding eight more siblings.
In 1928, Phyllis married Waynard E. Talbot at Lewiston, Utah; later solemnized in the Logan Temple. They welcomed four children into their home prior to moving to Nyssa, Oregon in 1945.  She worked at the Idaho Department Store and the Nyssa Hospital as the office manager, retiring at the age of 62.
Phyllis loved spending time with her family, camping and fishing.  She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings.  She loved serving at the Boise Temple for 10 years.
Phyllis is survived by her son Stephen A. (Patricia) Talbot, Apple Valley, UT; son Gerald E. (Wanda) Talbot, Nyssa; son W. Ralph (Kathy) Talbot, Centerville, UT, and son-in-law Glenn Weeks, Parma, ID, 18 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, 49 great-great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, all 15 brothers and sisters, her husband Waynard, and daughter Margene Talbot Weeks.
Services will be held at the Nyssa Stake House on Tuesday, April 15, at 11:00am. Following the service, internment will be at the Hilltop Cemetery. There will be a viewing prior to the service starting at 9:30 am in the Relief Society Room.
