Brady and My Trip To Rexburg...

Since Brady and I were leaving to Rexburg on Friday the 14th which was Valentine's Day, I had to give them their gifts on the 13th.  I got Scott some silicone rings with some treats and Brady got some new socks with more treats.  Scott had to travel to basketball games on the 14th and 15th.  Wade had to get shots and Kacie wanted me to be with her to help if Wade had any problems so Brady and I traveled alone so we could help.  There was a lot of snow that morning but I was determined to travel so I could help Kacie with Wade.  We were lucky because once we got past Boise there was no snow.

We were so excited to see this little guy!

We gave Wade this weighed puppy and Cole and Kacie some beanie's with some peanut butter hearts.

Cole gave Kacie these beautiful roses with some jewelry and chocolate.

I can't believe our little Wade is now two months old.  He is growing so fast!  I went with Kacie and Wade to his two month appointment.  He weighed ten pounds 12 ounces and is 23 inches long.  The doctor was very pleased with his growth and development.  It was so heartbreaking when they put a shot into both of his legs at the same time.  I just grabbed him and held him tight.  I may have even teared up too.  Wade did get a fever that lasted about 24 hours.  Gladly he was back to himself again.
I love this picture...so precious!

We were going to go home on Tuesday the 18th but Bailey asked me if I could help cover the booth at the Career Fair at BYU-Idaho for Owyhee Produce and Buck Naked on the 20th since she was sick.  Of course I said I would.  Above is a picture of our booth.  I helped from 8:45 to 1:00 then I went back to Kacie to pack up our stuff.

We said our good-byes then we left around 3 or 4.  It was so nice to get to spend time with them.

McCall and Super Bowl LIX (59)...

Wade was able to go on his first road trip to McCall.  He did just fine and they had a wonderful time.  On Sunday the 9th was the 59th Super Bowl and Patrick Mahomes' 5th.   We got a new Sony 77" TV a couple of weeks ago and we couldn't believe how good the picture was as we were watching the Super Bowl held at New Orleans this year.  Scott and I stayed home to watch it this year because Scott had a cold.  Brady drove over to Ron and Stacie's because that is tradition.  I'm so happy he can drive whenever he wants or needs to.

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the two-time defending champs Kansas City Chiefs 40-22.  This denied the Chiefs an unprecedented three consecutive Super Bowl titles.   Jalen Hurts was the Super Bowl MVP with three touchdowns.

They are the cutest little family.  We sure love these three!
Wade wore his little footballs for the big game... too cute!

Elder Talbot's Service...

They made some changes at the temple so Brady isn't able to work just strictly at the baptistry.  This also made it harder for the Skeens and Jacobs to work in other parts of the temple so they won't be able to work at the temple anymore.  Brady is going to still clean on Mondays and then do a session once a week instead of an ordinance worker.

At our last stake conference they encouraged us to take family names to the temple so today Brady took one of Scott's ancestors to the temple.  His name is Charles George Porter.  He was pretty happy to get to do work for his family through Grandma Phyllis' side of the family.  Later he was able to read stories about his life.  We are so proud of Brady and the great service he is doing.

Rusty's 50th Birthday...

I made this cute cake for Rusty's 50th birthday.
We had a party for him on Sunday, February 2nd,  just a day before his actual birthday.

Happy birthday Rusty!  Here's to many more!
Cute boys with their cute Grandma!
