Cole & Kacie Visit and Harper School Dance...

Cole and Kacie came for a visit for Scott's birthday.  They got here around noon on Friday.  We hung out for a while and watched some high school basketball playoff games before Scott and Cole went to do a little shooting.  When they got back we got ready to go out to eat at Ogawa's for dinner.  The food was so good and they gave Scott another Iron Maiden T-shirt that he had to wear to dinner.  On our way back home, I was scrolling through Facebook and saw that Harper was having a dance.  When I told Brady he wanted to go so Scott and I drove him out while Cole did some homework.  Brady was about an hour late but he still had a lot of fun.  Scott had to do some things in his class so it was fun for me to watch Brady having a good time.

I'm so glad he had fun!
Saturday we had a nice breakfast and relaxed.  We then went to the D&B one-day sale.  Cole got a range finder and we got Scott some more Carhartt t-shirts and a vest from Mom and Dad for his birthday.  We then went to get some groceries before going to Dutch Bros and then home.  Cole and Scott had some more fun doing some long-range shooting at some steel.    Scott made us a yummy dinner of grilled chicken thighs and fried rice.  While he was cooking Cole and Kacie ran back to D&B to take some jeans back.  When they got back they surprised Scott with one of the nice range finders like he had purchased earlier.  Scott was so surprised and thrilled they did that. They said it was his early Father's Day present.  They sure like to spoil him and he loves it!!  We then watched some more basketball games before going to bed.  It was sure a great weekend with those two.  It never lasts long enough.

Rusty's mom Barbara Ned (Morgan) Stubbs passed away on February 28, 2023.  She was 75 years old. Mom and Dad were planning on going to see Sadie's dance so when she passed they decided to drive through Utah and pick up Josh and James and take them along with them.  They were able to bring them home and attend her graveside memorial.
