50th Wedding Anniversary...

Sunday the 4th Rosie and I decided to give Mom and Dad their anniversary presents early.  She took some really neat pictures of the Sacred Grove while they were there last month and she had them printed and she also took some leaves from the grove and pressed and framed them.  We also gave them a Lego set of the Idaho Falls temple and a coin from their mission.  I think they really liked it.  Rosie did all the work finding their presents but all of us kids went in on it..

I posted this on their Anniversary!  They are so cute!

The night of the 5th we had a barbecue and dad invited all of his siblings to come.  It was so fun to visit with so many cousins.  I decorated a lemon cake for their them.  It was a lot of fun!

We couldn't believe that Brent came clear from Washington with some of his grandkids.  And I think all of Neill and Shelley's family came which was nice.

It was fun watching all the kids slip in slide and swim...

Taylor in Switzerland...

Taylor was one of 20 picked to represent the USA at the 2019 Paralympic Jr. World Championships in Switzerland.  Stacie dropped her off at the airport Saturday July 27th and she said everyone treated Taylor like a celebrity.  It is pretty awesome all the cool USA gear she got including a suitcase.  The guy checking her in said he wanted her suitcase.  haha!  She was lucky to have a girl from Boise competing that is a amputee so Stacie wasn't quite as nervous sending her off by herself.

It was crazy seeing her on the map so far away in Nottwil Switzerland.

It was pretty cool she metaled in the 400 meter with a bronze!

Ron and Stacie went over on July 29th and were able to do a little sightseeing.  They said it was so beautiful that pictures didn't do it justice.  They weren't able to be with Taylor because she had to stay with the team but they were able to see her at the track meets.  Pretty amazing experience for all of them. 

Malheur Fair, Brandon & Shopping...

Josh and James both showed goats at the fair for the first time.  Rosie and her kids went to the sale while Kacie and Mckinley went with me to see Brandon and do some shopping.

I got this idea to give Brandon our old iPhone4 with music and some bluetooth headphones.  We are hoping this works better for him because he can't throw the phone when it dies and if he throws his headphones they are a lot cheaper to replace than devices.  He was pretty happy to have some music again.   After we visited with him for awhile we went to the mall and Costco to get some snacks for our trip to Disneyland.  We had lunch at Costa Vida.  It was a fun day!

Idaho Pizza and Drive-Inn...

Rosie and her kids came home for the weekend for Mom and Dad's 50th Anniversary.  Today they all came over to meet Diana and Stephanie at Idaho Pizza for lunch.  After they ate they came by the office to say a quick visit before heading home.

This crew decided to go to the drive-in to see the new live action movie of Lion King.  It was really fun to watch it under the stars.  Kacie and Mckinley went boating with Cole and his buddies but they came by the drive-in after to watch the last show Yesterday.  It was a movie about the Beatles songs unfortunately I didn't see the ending because I fell asleep. haha!
