And Now The Rest of our Day

Scott and I went with Brady to the Elk's Children's Rehab Center Yesterday. We were there from 10:30 until 5 pm. We didn't break for lunch until 2 pm. It was no wonder that Brady wouldn't cooperate with all they wanted him to do. By 2pm Scott and I were not wanting to cooperate either. When we first got there and the Neuro Psychologist was observing Brady she thought he looked and acted just fine but then when she tried to make him do things he wasn't interested in that is when all the red flags started popping up. They did eventually diagnosis him with Autism. But she assured us that with the right therapy and help from the school hopefully he will be fine. Or maybe that is just me trying to look at the best of the situation.

It was a pretty over whelming day for us and to top it off, during our little break for lunch we went to pick up some supplies for the school carnival and got into a fender bender with another car. The crazy thing about it was that the parking lot that we were in was not busy at all. Scott just pulled to the side of the building and as he was backing up to the store this car came out of no where and tried to squeeze in between him and the store and Scott didn't see it until it was too late. I just don't understand why things like that have to happen.

After all of that we then picked Brandon up for his birthday party and tried real hard to put on a happy face.
