Brady's Senior Road Trip Idaho & Montana....

The day has finally come (June 8th).  How do you pack for 14 nights and 15 days? But we finally did and we are headed out.  We stopped in Nampa to have lunch at Happy Teriyaki and some Dutch for the road onto Rexburg for the night.

We had some beautiful views on our way, but we were so happy to finally see Cole and Kacie.  After we unloaded Kacie showed us her new E-Bike which is pretty cool.  Brady and I both had to try it out before going to Mill Hollow for dinner.  We also got some yummy smoothies at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe.  We then had a nice visit that night before going to bed.
Day 2 We headed to Billings, MT through Butte and Bozeman.  The drive was so beautiful.  We had to stop and get a couple of pictures at the continental divide, elevation 6870.

It was fun learning about the Lady of the Rockies and the history of Butte and this old mining town.

When we got to our hotel at the Hilltop Inn we thought we staying at the hospital.  It shared the same parking lot as the hospital.  After we got checked in and settled we went to eat at Mooyah' which was a yummy hamburger place.  It cost us $53.71 but then we realized they charged us for 4 hamburgers so they gave us $8.49 back in cash.  They don't charge sales tax in Montana which is nice.  Then we went to Sheel's and Brady found a Montana shirt and a sticker for $35.00 and Scott found some Brooks tennis shoes for $180.00

It's a fun store.  I love these pictures of Brady.  After we went to find the temple.  It is so beautiful.  We decided to try to drive to the top of that overlook you see behind the temple.  When we got to the top we were shocked that there was miles and miles of farmland up there.  After it got dark we went back up there again to see the city all lite up.  It was fun.
