New Fire Pit & Lights...

On July 21st & 22nd Scott and I worked on getting gravel and bricks to finish our firepit.  On our way home we stopped and got some a Mexican fruit cup to share.  It was very yummy and refreshing.

We then worked on setting these poles to hang our outdoor lights.  We set a larger PVC pipe about 18" in the ground (with an auger we bought to put on our drill) and then inserted the smaller one inside.  This way we can take them down whenever we need to.  When we were hanging them we didn't feel like they were going to be strong enough then Scott came up with the idea of supporting some of them to the house and the power pole.  We think that is going to work.
July 26th we finally got them all hung up and I'm so happy with how everything turned out.

July 29th Cole and Kacie had to come for a funeral for a close friend of the family and also an employee who drowned in the Snake River.  The picture below was taken after the funeral.  This was so sad, but we were happy we got to see them for a little bit in the evening.  We were able to have a fire in our new firepit which was fun.
