Memorial Weekend...

Wanda's sister Joanne hasn't been doing well so she asked us if we could drive her to Idaho Falls to spend Memorial weekend with all of her sisters.  This might be the last time they can all be together.  We left late Saturday morning.  We had lunch at Chick-Fil-A which was their first time ever eating there.  We got to Idaho Falls around 4:30 and dropped Wanda off at their Airbnb.  Not everyone was there yet.  But I got a picture of her with her sister Carolyn.  We met Cole and Kacie for dinner at Texas Roadhouse then went to their house.

We started watching The Pacific which is a mini-series on Netflix about World War II.  We watched a couple of episodes before going to bed.   The next day we all slept in a little and had a nice relaxing morning.  We then decided to go to Bear World.  I was surprised Brady opted to stay home and not go.

We took a slow drive through all the bears and then watched all the cute little cubs getting fed.  Then we found a wheelchair for Gerald so we could walk around the dinosaur exhibit, which was really cool.  We thought about riding the Ferris wheel but then opted out.  Cole found a rainbow sucker that he thought Brady should have like the ones he would get at Disney World.  It was cute with a little bear wrapped around it.  We then headed back to their house a relaxed before making us some dinner.  After we had our yummy dinner and cleaned up all the boys went for a drive to the Teton Dam.  I was happy Gerald enjoyed it so much.  It was nice for Kacie and I, to have some girl time.  We watched some Gilmore Girls episodes.

After they got back from their drive with some added climbing we went to Rigby for some ice cream.  They had some of the most creative shakes.  Scott had some kind of a mango sherbet.

Brady had a super cute Cookie Monster shake.  It was fun!  After we got back we watched some more of The Pacific then went to bed.
Monday morning Scott and Gerald went back to Idaho Falls to pick up Wanda.  We had lunch at Millhollow which is always a favorite.  It was fun to see Ty and Kim Hartley there and chat with them for a little bit.  They were visiting her family that lives in Rexburg.  After our lunch, we said our goodbyes and headed home.  We had a fun weekend.

Carolyn, Joann, Wanda, and Donna
I'm so glad they were able to have a fun weekend together.

I fell in love with this tree of Cole and Kacie's.
