Lots of Flowers and June Events...

On June 2nd we went to check on Gerald and Wanda because they weren't at church.  As we were leaving we got our picture taken.

On June 8th we celebrated James' birthday.  Mom put up the slip-n-slide and had a pinata for the kids.  We gave him a Super Maria Brothers T-shirt.
On June 12th Mom and the boys went to help Grandma with some chores.
On June 14th we went to see Inside Out 2.  It was cute.

On June 20th I took some pictures of my gladiolus.  I was so happy that some of them bloomed.  I sure hope they come back next year.  They are supposed to be the kind that you don't have to dig up every fall.
On June 21st we met Cole and Kacie for dinner then we went to Scheels.  We always enjoy shopping there.  After we went to Lovejoy for some yummy ice cream.  It was fun.

On June 22nd Kacie and I went to Melissa's bridal shower.  It was fun to catch up with Carmen and Melissa.  We are so happy for her.  Kacie and I gave her and Cesar sweatshirts that say Bride and Groom with C+M on the sleeves.

June 22nd I tried to take pictures of the moon but it just isn't the same.
On June 26th I took a picture of my Disneyland Roses...

On June 29th I picked these flowers out of my yard.
On June 30th after church, I grabbed a quick picture of my good-looking hubby!

Winner, Winner...

On Saturday, June 29th Scott and I went to the Ontario Rock and Landscaping to get some pea gravel to go around our pavers.  While we were there we put in our names for a raffle for this table and guess who won?  We did!  I couldn't believe it, we never win anything.  The top is made out of solid granite.  We then had to get more pavers to make a place to put our new table.  I love how our backyard is coming together.

Devastating Storm...

On June 26th while I was at work we got a devastating storm with hail and strong winds.  The whole valley lost power from all the trees that had fallen on power lines and then also power lines that had been blown over.  I got a picture of JD taking a picture of all the hail.  I left work around 2:30.  I couldn't even go through the under bridge because it was closed.

This is JD stopping in the middle of our giant mud puddle.

When I drove through town I couldn't the destruction.  M&W's greenhouse was laid out over their roof and there were tons of trees blown over and limbs knocked down at the school.

They had to close the highway because of all of these power lines that went down.

Wanda took these pictures of their neighbor's tree down and limbs down at their house.

Scott took this picture of Alex's trampoline mangled by being blown around out in the field.  Plus below is all the flooding at our house.

We decided to go shopping in Nampa since we didn't have any power.  We couldn't believe all the sheds that we saw that had lost their roofs in Apple Valley.  The crazy thing is that the closer we got to Parma there was no sign of a storm.  Brady went up to the lake with Mom and the boys.  They had to stop along the side of the road to let the storm pass and questioned whether they should continue going up but they did and had perfect weather.

Cousin Camp...

Juliene planned another fun cousin camp for their family.  It was nice that they invited us on a few of their activities.  Monday night on June 24th we got invited to the Garden Valley Outdoor Theater to see Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.  I was super bummed when I got sick that day and was unable to go.  Looks like everyone had a great time.

On Wednesday June 26th they all went up to the Owyhee Lake to swim and go tubbing.
