March 20th...

Cole and Kacie came home for the weekend.  After Carriesa did Kacie's hair they came out and took Scott shopping for his birthday.  They got him some nice boots at D&B.  We then went to Dutch Bros and then home.  Scott made some pork fried rice and chicken thighs on the Treager.  Mom and Dad joined us for dinner and then we watched some basketball.  It was nice to visit with everyone and spend time with Kacie and Cole.

Harper MS Football

Oregon finally let the kids start playing football this month.  Scott thought he was only going to have practice with the middle school kids but then they ended up scheduling two games with Jordan Valley.  One of the parents took these pictures.  They won!

Mom ran into the father of one of the players and he told her how much he appreciated Scott.  He went on and on about what a good job he does with the kids.  That really made Scott feel good.

March Birthdays...

Sunday, March 14th we had a birthday party for Scott, Taylor, and Sam at Ron and Stacie's.  We had pork tacos and I made them a cake.  I thought it turned out pretty cute...hopefully they liked it.  I know it sure tasted good.  It was a vanilla cake with lemon filling.

Scott can be such a goofball sometimes! haha!

Scott is always making people laugh...

Laughing at Snapchats...

Scott had a great birthday...

Monday the 15th we had mom, dad, Teniele, and her boys over for dinner.  I made homemade coleslaw and a mustard sauce and we put together pulled pork sliders with our leftover pork from Sunday.  They were really yummy.  We also had some asparagus and green beans plus leftover birthday cake.

A Little This and That...

Mom babysat Tara and Tommy's two youngest while they went to Cancun, Mexico the last week of February.  Mom had fun with them and on the last night she set up a tent in the living room.  She always knows how to have a good time with kids.
Gerald and Wanda gave me this Disney puzzle years ago.  I finally got around to putting it together.  It was a fun puzzle and so cute I had to get it framed.  Hobby Lobby did a custom frame for me for $160.00.  It definitely was more than I wanted to spend but it turned out cute and it goes good with all my Disney stuff.

On March 7th Brady had a bad day at church so we invited Lea, Kailani, Jaynee & Abigal to come over and play games with him and Grandma Sue's house.  We had a lot of fun playing Tenzee and Skyjo.
Brady painted this picture in his adult skills class.  I absolutely love it!

March 8th Kacie was so happy she passed her Idaho Driver's Test.  She is now an official Idahoan.

Girl's Weekend...

Thursday the 18th Mom, Teniele, and I drove to Utah to meet Kacie at Tremonton.  We ate there then she followed us to Rosie's house.  We then had some dinner at her house before heading to Midvale to see the Ice Castles.  Mom made everyone one of these hot pads from some of Grandma Della's flannel.
Looks like Max made it in one of our pictures...haha!

The Ice Castles were a lot of fun but boy was it cold.
We were all glad we had boots even though my feet still got cold but at least they were dry.

We got an older gentleman to take our picture and this was the best one we got.  The rest were selfies of himself...haha!

I have no idea what happened in this picture...but it makes me laugh!

After the Ice Castles, we went to our home in Orem for the weekend.
The next morning we slept in had breakfast then went to the outlets in Lehi.
We did a little shopping then got some lunch.

We ate lunch here at Aubergine.
It was really good and very healthy.
Teniele didn't want to risk it so she got Subway next door.
Friday night we played games and relaxed.

Kyle came over for a short visit around 10pm.  He looks good!
This is the view out our back window... a golf course and club house.
It's a nice home.
Saturday morning Mom paid for us all to get pedicures.  We then went back to the house to change before getting some lunch and more shopping.

We had lunch at Cubby's.
Kacie and I each had a hamburger and shared some rosemary fries.  It was good.

We all had a blast helping mom try on clothes at Torrid in the mall.  Kacie said that was the most fun she's had shopping.  We then found a lot of cute clothes at Downeast.  I was really happy I found a cute dress, coat, sweater, and turtleneck.  When we got back to the house around 7:30 Pam and Tricia were there and then Mallory and Josie came with little Dean.  We all had fun visiting and catching up.

We babysat cute little Dean while all the girls went to get Dutch Bros.
I can't wait to be a grandma.

Josie went back to Ogden around midnight, but Mallory stayed the night with us.  Kacie said they stayed up till 5:00am catching up.  They talked about her mission in Italy and Kacie's married life.

Sunday we watched my 2020 slideshow and took a few more pictures before checking out.

We went to visit mom's Aunt Alta and cousin Sandy before heading home.

Sandy was showing us a legacy book that Diana had made and I found this cute picture of me and Grandma Alder.  I love the shock on her face when she realized that mom was taking her picture! (:

We had a fun weekend!  I hope we can make this an annual tradition and hopefully Laura and her girls can come next time.
