Cole invited Kacie to go up to McCall with him, his parents (Jo and Jolene) and sister (Carriesa) and her boyfriend for the weekend. She was a little nervous be super excited. The first night she was feeling a little down because she wished she wasn't so shy, but each day got better and she felt more comfortable. They rode razors, paddle boarded, hung out by the lake and Cole got pooped on by a bird. haha! They enjoyed the hot tub, ate out a lot, went to church and enjoyed getting to know each other.
Cole told her in church it was nice to have a girl companion for a change. I thought that was so cute. He just got home from his mission to Phoenix Arizona on July 31st. They came home Monday the 3rd and I was so happy that Kacie had such a good time. She really liked his parents and sister too!
It was fun to have Rosie's family here for the weekend, but it was weird not having Kacie home with us and I know Mckinley really missed her. Saturday night we had a bunch of family and friends over and the kids played on the slip n slide. We had fun playing Corn Hole and later had smore's. It was a nice evening. Sunday we played more games and really enjoyed having them here for the weekend. Monday Rosie and I picked some raspberries at Tara's house and they were able to see Kacie a little before they headed home.
